£500 Angel Grant awarded to Be Their Voice, Barbados
Be Their Voice reduces animal suffering in Barbados by acting as the bridge between animals in need and the care they deserve. Through high-impact spay/neuter programs, emergency vet support, food assistance, and rescue coordination, they help vulnerable animals move from the streets into shelters, foster homes, and permanent adoptions. Partnering with local organisations, businesses, and international supporters, they are building a kinder, more compassionate Barbados – for animals and people.
They will use their £500 Angel Grant to neuter 10 dogs belonging to Bajan citizens who can't afford the sterilisation fees.
We are truly grateful for your support, and your donation makes a significant impact on the many animals who suffer on the island of Barbados. There is an URGENT need for education, empathy towards animals and neutering to curb the overpopulation. Our animal shelters are always operating well over capacity and we are constantly being called upon to help in dire situations. We are pleased to welcome The Sanctuary Angels to our 'changemakers' community, and TOGETHER, we can make a difference.
