Tobias' Legacy, Manchester, gets £500 Angel Grant for vet bills and neutering

Michelle, who single-handedly runs Tobias' Legacy, is a cat colony caretaker, focusing on TNR and independent trapping. She first got in touch with The Sanctuary Angels in May 2025, desperate for help with repairing the cat run in her garden, where she also stores vital equipment.

She got in touch again in June and July 2026 with an urgent plea for help with vet bills for some of the resident cats. Finally, in August 2026, we were able to send Michelle a £500 Angel Grant, and this was her response:

Hi Amanda. Oh my goodness! This is amazing. I will be using the funds towards vet bills. We have 12 resident cats, some feral and with ongoing health issues. Also, more recently, for neutering any strays, as there’s no neutering funding available in the area for strays. Thank you so, so much for everything you do for the animals. It’s very much appreciated. Love, Michelle and all the cats, including the street cats  xx
