£500 Angel Grant awarded to Foxys Inn Animal Sanctuary, County Down

Toria, feline resident at Foxys Inn Animal Sanctuary, County Down, run by Vanessa Dugan
Vanessa Dugan, who runs Foxys Inn Animal Sanctuary in Bangor, County Down, rescues sick, unwanted, disabled and neglected animals, giving them a secure home for life. She is looking for a secure piece of land to call a permanent home for her and her rescue animals, now and in the future.
I have decided the best plan is to find a small piece of land where initially I can put some portacabins for myself and the animals to live. The [fundraiser] is to help with the installation of amenities like water, electric and sewage ... and the movement of portacabins to the site, plus any additional costs to do with planning permission. It would be great if we were able to raise enough for a small deposit on the land too, because that would really help ... to secure the land we are looking for.
This is what Vanessa had to say when she received the £500 Angel Grant for Foxys Inn (they were nominated by the Equine Halfway House Pony Rescue and Refuge):
