Back in October 2024, Emily from Wild Hogs got in touch:

Hello, We are a vegan-run hedgehog rescue in Gloucestershire. We take in over 500 hedgehogs every year. We are a registered charity 1168800 and do not have any paid staff. Please let us know how we can apply for a grant. Best wishes, Emily Harper, Manager

Almost 12 months later, and we have just sent Wild Hogs a £500 Angel Grant.

This is what Emily had to say:

Hi Amanda, that’s amazing! Thank you very much. I think we will probably spend it on food and vets bills. We’ve got a hedgehog going in for a skin scrape today so that will help with the costs and any treatment. Best wishes, Emily
