The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary, Cornwall

Updated: May 19, 2020

THE FLICKA FOUNDATION DONKEY SANCTUARY (Penryn, Cornwall) rescues abandoned and ill-treated horses and donkeys, allowing them to live their lives in a safe peaceful environment. Founded by Mary Berryman in 1995, the sanctuary site now provides a safe home for over 100 donkeys and horses, all of which have been rescued from abuse, neglect and abandonment. Since then, Flicka has had the privilege of many horses, ponies, sheep, pigs, cows, cats, dogs, rabbits, many small animals and donkeys coming to them for lots of different reasons. Each one has a story to tell. Some have suffered unthinkable cruelty or neglect, and some have been abandoned or ailing in some way and requiring lots of TLC.

Having visited The Flicka Foundation in September 2018, with great pleasure THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent them £300 in May 2020, following their Emergency Appeal for Animals 2020.
