Who are Forgotten Dogs of Turkey?

Forgotten Dogs of Turkey has been a dedicated animal rescue service since 2020. They are a group of women in the UK who have witnessed dreadful things happening to animals in Turkey. Their aim is to raise funds to feed, medicate and care for dogs who don't have a future. Forgotten Dogs of Turkey has discovered countless ways to make a positive difference in the lives and welfare of animals. Click here to read more about their work.

The request for help

Hi. I volunteer for Forgotten Dogs of Turkey, and they are always in need of funds to try and rescue more dogs from horrendous conditions in the government shelters, where they don't feed them or give them water. So far we have rescued nine dogs, but hundreds more need help to get out of the shelters. We plan on going back again soon to take some more dogs.

As soon as funds allowed, The Sanctuary Angels sent over a £500 Angel Grant.

What Forgotten Dogs of Turkey will do with their grant

A huge thank you (to The Sanctuary Angels) for the £500 Angel Grant. The money will be going towards our rent to keep the dogs safe until 2029! It is a huge amount, and we are very, very grateful.
