Hull Streetcats awarded £500 Angel Grant, July 2026

"Casper would like to thank everyone who contributed towards his treatment and care. He is becoming the grand gentleman he was born to be. He is the beauty we all saw that he could be, and we are all grateful that we were given the chance to help him reach his potential."

What the grant means to them:

A couple of weeks ago I wasn't sure we would survive Casper's vet bills. The amount kept growing and growing, and it felt like we were having to ask for so much help to recover from having to empty the bank account that it would just be too much. We have been overwhelmed with the assistance we have been given, and the generosity we have received has been astonishing. Today we were amazed to receive a grant of £500 from The Sanctuary Angels – a non-profit charity that raises funds for deserving charities. It is an honour to be considered worthy of a donation, as we're in exalted company. It's impossible to express just how much this means to us, not just financially. We are incredibly grateful to have been considered worthy. Thank you.
