Back in April 2021, THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent an emergency £100 Angel grant to Breaking the Chains in support of their life-saving work in Ukraine. In October 2021 we were delighted to be able to send them a full £300 Angel grant. In their own words: "Animals are suffering in their hundreds of millions across the world, a suffering that can only ever be eased if we work together and as one. Although Ukraine is only one small piece of the of the world, the suffering faced by many here is truly heartbreaking. We MUST continue to work as one to ease that suffering and with your support we can free MANY more animals from chains.
