THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent a £300 Angel grant to Leanne of Best Friends Sanctuary - Stray/Rescue Coventry (Facebook page), as part of their Spring Appeal 2022. We helped Leanne for the first time last year and we are delighted to be able to do so again, with the help of the amazing Rugby and Coventry Vegans, who raised £270 for us this week through hosting a vegan cream tea. A very big thank you to them and all our wonderful supporters.
Leanne is doing backbreaking, life-saving work, almost single-handedly, working with feral cat colonies that have got out of control and making a real difference to the individuals (the ferals) involved. She is going to use the Angel grant to pay for a much-needed dental for one of the cats, which is one of just many expenses she has, including spaying, microchipping, vaccinations, dentals, wormers and flea treatments, etc. She receives limited support and is really doing the most incredible work, so please head over and like her Facebook page and give her a big boost!
