Whitegate Animal Sanctuary, Wirral

WHITEGATE ANIMAL SANCTUARY (Wirral) was created in August 2018 to rescue unwanted and neglected animals from the agricultural industries. One supporter described Whitegate as "a little haven of safety for beautiful sentient beings."

THE SANCTUARY ANGELS sent £300 to Whitegate as part of their WINTER APPEAL 2020. Laura, who runs Whitegate, said: "I just wanted to say a huge thank you for choosing to support my sanctuary. It means the world to me. I am currently relocating all the animals to a new site as our current one sadly has started to flood. As you can imagine, fencing and fixing a new premises, then moving 150 animals and all their enclosures, is expensive and time-consuming work, so this has come at just the right time. I can’t thank you enough, you really are angels! What a lovely beautiful thing to set up, in a world of misery and selfishness, there are bright beacons of hope like yourselves. Thank you for being so kind and being there for animals. Big huge love and thanks from me and all my darling faces (11 dogs, 7 cats, 8 pigs, 6 sheep, 7 goats, 100 chickens, 4 ducks, 4 pigeons and 2 turkeys )"
