What is The Neuter Project?

We are an RCVS registered and insured veterinary practice kitted out to do the job [of neutering animals]. We are set in the wonderful location of the Retreat Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary and Cafe near Ashford in Kent. The sanctuary is heaven on Earth, offering sanctuary to over 2,000 farm animals, from cows, horses, pigs, goats, donkeys, geese, turkeys, hens, peacocks and pigeons. As well as any wildlife that needs help.

How will a £500 Angel Grant from The Sanctuary Angels help them?

More wonderful news, today we received a £500 grant from The Sanctuary Angels who were set up to help rescues both here and abroad by gifting their grants to projects such as ours to continue vital work. The Sanctuary Angels are very much in line with how we operate as we were also set up to help others in the form of neutering for free for rescues and charities. This amazing grant will cover approximately one month's work for us, paying to neuter 25 cats, 10 dogs or 16 rabbits or guinea pigs. (Angie Hamp, The Neuter Project)
