Sarja Microsanctuary awarded £500 Angel Grant

Thanks to The Sanctuary Angels £500 Angel Grant, we’re finally able to move forward with completing our small Quarantine Area for the chickens. This space has been a long‑term goal for us, a safe and quiet unit where we can care for birds who need a little extra TLC, whether that’s medication, a special diet, or a short recovery period away from the main flock.

The funds are being used to buy the materials needed to finish securing the structure so our birds can rest, heal, and still see their flockmates, which is so important for their wellbeing. This support means we can give our most vulnerable bird residents the calm, protected space they deserve while they recover.
