We were also able to send a £300 Angel grant earlier in December to a group called From Coelbren to Ukraine and back in Wales. They have already done one emergency aid trip out to Ukraine and they have another one planned for 2023.
This is what they had to say about their Angel grant: "We live in a tiny Welsh village very close to the Brecon Beacons. We foster dogs, rescue cats. When we saw the awful news about Russia trying to take Ukraine, displacing people and pets, we knew we had to do something. The residents of Coelbren have come together donating dog crates, fleeces, baby's nappies, dog and cat feed, baby food. In fact the generosity is overwhelming... We have been donated an old minibus so the money will get it road ready for Ukraine. Our minibus will be taking out animal feed, human aid and medical supplies and bringing out refugees."
